HOSPITAL
S s p was founded in 2004 by BADER
ELSHAHIN in association with dr. tariq bahgat , owner
and President of Animal Behavior & Training Associates,
Inc., (S S P), the largest independent dog training
company in the MIDDLE EAST.
SSP, founded in 2004, currently staffs over 120
certified dog trainers in London , south Africa ,CAIRO,
Egypt and has worked with hundreds of thousands of
students and their dogs. ssp trainers are highly skilled
instructors who have successfully passed a series of
comprehensive training tests in order to attain
employment . Nearly two decades of testing and
certifying professional dog trainers has allowed us to
see numerous changes occur in the field of dog training.
When we first began, most trainers were using relatively
harsh, compulsion training methods. Many trainers
believed dogs needed to be at least six months of age
before training could commence. Thankfully, these
misconceptions and many others are no longer the norm.
Unfortunately, one thing that has not yet changed is
there are still no regulation standards for obedience
trainers. This means that anyone can print up business
cards and call himself or herself a dog trainer. As the
largest dog training company in the gulf area, we
believed we had an obligation to create and manage a Dog
Obedience Instructor Training Program that would
incorporate our decades of training expertise while
offering hands on training opportunities with some of
the most accomplished trainers in the field.
Dog Obedience Instructor Program is available to dog
lovers nationwide and is the pick of the litter for the
professionally minded. This program is perfect for the
serious student just starting out or for the
professional trainer looking to sharpen their skills.
our goal is to offer a positive and effective training
program which will produce highly motivated and
qualified trainers.
We are excited to offer you admission into this program

Laboratory
We have the latest equipment in modern biochemistry,
haematology & blood elecrobyte analysers, for example to
check for liver, kidney and diabetic problems. Extensive
bacteriological tests including antibiotic sensitivity
tests, identification of bacterial species can be
carried out, so that we can ensure that your pet has the
correct treatment as soon as possible.
Also we can examine both urine and faecal samples which
aid in our diagnoses of various problems. In addition
many skin conditions can be rapidly treated if we
identify the parasites involved.
Overall a great many clinical problems are clarified by
the results produced in our laboratory.
Hospitalisation
You can rest assured that your pets stay with us will be
a comfortable one. We have insulated, easy care,
stainless steel kennels and for those requiring it,
intensive care units offering temperature control and
oxygen.
We also have a separate isolation ward, which is nursed
on a ‘barrier nurse’ basis, where only one nurse treats
the patient, so no transfer of infection occurs.
Nursing standards are of the highest quality with 5
qualified ‘Van’s’ and two trainee nurses, all of which
are committed and are continually updating their
knowledge. We have 24 hour cover and the optimal in pet
care is always adhered to.
Theatre
The safest, modern anaesthetics are used in our theatre.
We were one of the first practices to use Isoflurane
gas, the safest licensed gas unaesthetic, over 10 years
ago!
We have various patient monitoring units for optimal
safety whilst operations take place.
The Theatre contains extensive facilities and
instrumentation such as cryosurgery (Freezing Tissue)
unit, suction, cavity and endoscopy.
We have a complete dentistry facility with ultrasonic
scalars, compressed air units for drilling and offer
restorative surgery on fractured and cavities in our
patients teeth.
We use a ECG machine for recording heart patterns.
The ultrasound scanner is used for visualizing many
internal organs or even pregnancy diagnosis. We can even
produce photographs of your unborn pups!
X-ray
We have a separate, fully equipped x-ray suite with an
automatic processor. We use various sized plates and
contrast media to get the best results for each
individual.
Medical
A fully comprehensive range of drugs, specialized diets
are stocked so that you can be sure that the best
treatments are available for your pet.
We have access to a rapid supply of rare or human
licensed drugs if needed.
A full work up of your pets condition is encouraged and
with our extensive range of diagnostics most conditions
can be diagnosed and treated from within the practice.
Administration
We have an excellent reception team, ever friendly and
willing to help with any queries and problems that you
may encounter.
